The people I’ve worked closely with over the years never once made me feel like background support. They trusted me with the things that actually mattered — their time, their priorities, the details that made or broke their week. And that kind of trust taught me something I didn’t expect: how essential this role really is, done properly.

But I also saw the other side of it. I watched how hard it is — especially here in Cyprus — to find that same level of support. Good administrative talent isn’t the problem. The problem is a real shortage of people trained and positioned to operate at executive level: to make judgment calls, protect someone’s time proactively, and hold context that doesn’t disappear the moment one person is unavailable.
But I also saw the other side of it. I watched how hard it is — especially here in Cyprus — to find that same level of support. Good administrative talent isn’t the problem. A trained team, working to documented standards, so a business never has to gamble its momentum on one person staying forever.

It’s also, quietly, something for the people who do this work. I know what it feels like to be underestimated in this role. ExecOps is my answer to that too — a place where the standard is real, the training is real, and the respect is real.
